What does the programme cost?
RM9,000 in total — RM2,500 EMGS registration and RM6,500 tuition. That covers your EMGS fee, your tuition, your medical screening and your airport pickup. The programme runs for one year, so there is no second year and no second year of tuition. Instalment plans are available on request. Ask us about anything you would need to budget for separately, such as your flight, and we will tell you plainly.
How long is it?
Twelve months. You study and train at the same time throughout, because the programme is delivered as Work Based Learning rather than classroom study followed by a short internship.
Do I really get paid during the training?
Yes. The host hotel pays a training allowance of RM1,300 a month for all twelve months of your placement, and your accommodation and duty meals are provided. You are doing real rostered work in a working five-star hotel, not an unpaid observation placement, which is why the hotel pays rather than you paying for a placement.
So the allowance is more than the fee?
Over twelve months the allowance comes to RM15,600 against the RM9,000 you paid, and your room and meals are covered on top. We show the full arithmetic on the programme page rather than asking you to take it on trust.
Who actually pays the RM1,300 — the hotel or Gradduos?
The hotel pays it. It reaches you through Gradduos Empire, the same way your fees reach the academy through us. We are not funding the allowance ourselves — it comes from the hotel you are placed with, because you are doing real work there.
Who can apply?
Students aged 18 to 25 who have completed high school and have moderate English. Entry is also subject to the academy confirming your application.
When can I start?
Intakes run in the second week of March, June, September and December. Apply well ahead of your intake, because the academy needs time to process your student pass.
Who handles my visa?
Your academy handles admission and student pass processing. We handle your recruitment, your placement with the academy, your hotel placement and your accommodation, and we are here throughout your year in Malaysia.
Where will I live?
Accommodation is provided throughout your placement, along with your duty meals. Ask us for the specifics of where you would be staying before you commit to anything.
What certificate do I get?
The certificate is awarded by the partner academy you enrol with. Each of our partner academies issues its own.
Who do I pay?
You pay Gradduos Empire, and we settle the fees with the academy. The allowance goes the other way on the same route: the hotel pays it, and we pass it to you each month.
